Arrival on Oct 25th no earlier than 18:00 (participants of the previous event can stay, food will be provided). Pick up participants on the last day at approximately 15:00, after the rooms have been cleaned. Start of rehearsals on 29.10. at 13:30.
WHERE
At our Beztahov center.
We sleep in 6 and 8 bedded rooms which will be heated.
WHO AND WHAT
The camps are for all interested parties including complete beginners and is completed with a technical grade exam.
The camps are for all those interested in the TKD exam and comprehensive training. Beginners will have a separate group so that they are well prepared for the exams. Korean hopae sool training and exams will also be held here.
Family visits are available by appointment only. Rehearsals are held on the last day, arrival for rehearsal required no later than 9:45am on the second to last day. By arrangement, retakes for the exams may be held on days other than the last day with a minimum attendance of 2 full days. A longer stay guarantees more opportunities for re-testing and a better chance of passing the exams. You can also participate in the second autumn camp and have the possibility to maybe even pass double exams.
PRICE
The price includes food, drink, training, lodging and any exams and equipment required for each technical level (doboys, belts, paws, pads....). Equipment will not be provided to school members who have not been to a training camp for at least two days in more than 13 months and are 9 years of age or older.
1 day at 1000 CZK minus discounts (Total 4000 CZK)
Discounts:
- 50% each third and additional practicing family member, GBHS teachers and lifetime members
- 10% for signing up by October 16 and a deposit of 1500 CZK credited to our account no later than October 16
- 5% of the whole camp
All those who have paid the new member fee this semester can deduct this amount from the camp supplement or immediately when paying the full camp fee.
The deposit is refundable only if excused by email within two days prior to the start of each camp for serious documentable medical reasons. Deposits or full amounts can be sent clearly marked with name and purpose to the school account 2001870779/2010. Or, exceptionally, pay cash to the teachers. In case of cash payment and immediate need for a receipt, please inform the teacher in advance. The rest of the amount can be paid on the spot no later than the first day upon your arrival or again on account. No discount can be applied and no exams can be taken when paying for events or the balance after the event.
NOTES and WHAT TO BRING
Sleeping bag, dobok (not beginners), paper, pencil, small pocket money maybe, general supplies as per camps. From yellow leaf, from green protector, from red-black knife. TKD equipment can be purchased on site. Do not bring any other equipment (except for current national team members for their rep gear and Ukrainians and their own gear imported from Ukraine). Clothing and shoes for outdoor and indoor training. Swimwear. We recommend a pillow.
- No valuables, no electrical appliances except mobile phone chargers which are not recommended for children under 13.
- Parent number and health insurance card will be carried by everyone
- For preschoolers or less independent children in 1st-2nd grade, we recommend participation with an older family member present. We consider mastery of the clock, personal hygiene, and right and left side recognition to be essential. The ability to interact independently with the teacher and parental support in this is essential. In the event of a gross breach of discipline, anyone may be excluded from this event without refund. As well as leaving by choice.
Children are provided with refreshments throughout the event and a working kitchen where they can go at any time. We do not recommend taking any additional food with you except for a plastic drinking bottle. Full shopping bags of crisps, sweets and energy drinks will be sent back with parents. Minors are not allowed to leave the premises, older ones only by arrangement with the teacher.
We ask that all members (parents preferred for preschoolers) take time to take at least a few days to review and take exams. Especially members without summer events to attend.
By signing up for camp, the participant agrees to abide by the rules for staying at camp.
